About 4-5 mths ago my spine in my thoracic area (bra line/upper back) started hurting. It has been JUST MY SPINE. It had gotten so bad that I finally went to dr. She said it was likely a "slipped disc" then sent me for xray. Xray came back and showed NO slipped disc but "Osteoartheritis", they reffered me to a Spine & Pain Management Dr., that dr. said yes about the arthertitis but was talking about what I remember as "sclerosis", now don't quote me because after reading it, it sound like the begining of Multiple Sclerosis, so I most have this wrong because this isn't something you just throw a diagnosis at. I called the next day to confirm what I thought I heard and they said they would call me the next day. I never got a call. Anyways, that dr. sent me for MRI which I had Friday, he wanted me to have it ASAP because tomorrow I am having a Spinal Epideral in my Thoracic region under xray. I'm so confused and the pain is unbareable.
I have told Scott for years..."something is wrong with me, one day we will find out and I will feel relieved to have finally had a conclusion". I know whatever it is , isn't going to be pretty, I never expected it to.
I don't know how I am going to work today, the pain is horrid today and being a caregiver is not a job for the weak at heart and body. My job is about over, summer is hear and that's the end of that for a bit I think.
I just don't know what to say, but something is wrong. I haven't told Scott that is radiates in my ribs, hips and how bad it is. Maybe I will call dr. today even though I'm there tomorrow. Hmmm

Maybe they said scoliosis?
Are you thinking MS? Cancer? The radiation to your hips and ribs could also be related to MS, I would imagine.
Please keep us updated and thank you for inviting me to read, girly.

I feel bad for you beautiful. You are always in my prayers and I do hope that everything will go in a positive direction from here on out. Wish there was something I could do for you to take that pain away. Take care Angie! xoxo
my BFF, Lori, had a stroke 3 wks ago and was diagnosed that day with MS, after a dozen years of strange ailments. If you have MS, you have a long road in front of you...i told everyone on FB about Lori's MS and quite a few of my friends said they also have it. I am so very sorry that you feel this way....what you need is a real diagnosis and a treatment plan so you know what to do. Thank you for adding me here....if you will email me when you update or add me to your 10 friends who automatically get the alert that you wrote. i love you, Ang.
Thanks for the invite to read your private blog. I'm so sorry to hear what you've been going through! Please let me know when you get more info - how scary! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Big hugs, Martha
